This journal is made from a composition notebook. The paper used has shades of red, teal, black, and white. The front cover has a pattern paper using the four colors for flowers. There is a double row of red rhinestone-looking ribbon down the front side of the spine. There is a red cheesecloth tag on the front with a metal nameplate in the center to allow you to personalize the journal. The rhinestone-looking ribbon outlines the border of the tag as well. There is also a little red cheesecloth bow down in the lower right corner of the front cover. The inside front and back covers have two pockets each--one going horizontal and the other going vertical. The back cover uses a matching black paper with teal grid lines and a row of the rhinestone-looking ribbon edging the spine. There are also two bookmarks included on the first page of the journal and are held by a cute red paperclip. All four corners are secured with gold corner protectors. The journal measures approximately 7 1/2" wide and 9 3/4" tall.
