Just A Little About Me and Where I Live!
I have been crafting most of my life. I come from a very crafty family and began at a very young age. However, it was not until I retired from education that I was finally able to find my true passion...Paper Crafting. I have been scrapbooking for 16 years and have had so much fun. I hope that you enjoy what you see in my store. Even though I have been crafting for many years, I have still not truly developed my "Style"! I love scrapbooking, but my true passion is junk journaling and beading, but the day is young, so that may change as well. I guess the idea is to "Keep moving.....Keep changing.....Keep creating!
This is Me!
If you are like me, you like to put a face to the person that you are interacting with. Well, this is me! This is a picture of me hanging out in the wildflowers that were on our place in Colorado. I decided to wear my "Kentucky Derby" hat so I could look all fancy and stuff. While I grew up in Texas and I am still a "Texas Girl", I love living in Colorado. And that is where the Colorado story ends. Due to health concerns and family needs, my husband and I decided in April 2022 to move back to Texas. I cried for the first 3 weeks because this was my "Forever Home". God has a way of changing your plans and needs though and it came time for a change in our lives. We sold our house in Colorado, stayed with my mom for about 3 weeks while we decided where we wanted to go and then started looking for a house. We only had two rules.....No townhouses and no stairs! Of course, where did we end up .....in a townhouse WITH stairs in San Angelo, Texas. This location puts us about half way between our son, daughter in love, and grandkids and my mom and brother. We found a place on the river so my husband can spend his free time fishing and canoeing. After the sadness of leaving Colorado, I am now ready to accept God's new plan for us and am so excited to get started. Thank you for taking this adventureous path with me!
I Get the privilege of calling this place....."HOME"!
As I said earlier, our new "Heaven on Earth" home is located on the river. I don't do a lot of outdoor activities for many reasons, but I hate the outdoors--I mean I like to look and enjoy the outdoors, but really don't enjoy the activity part. Also, I have a lot of trouble with arthritis in my hips and knees, so walking is a very difficult task for me. As you can see, we have 3 levels in the back of our house down to the river. Those stairs give my knees all kinds of fits, but my husband LOVES it! I have a craft studio and an air conditioner while he has the river and the outdoors. ....PERFECT!!!!!

Let Me Introduce "Grannie"
I wanted to add one more little section. So, when we lived in Colorado, we drove a 4-Wheel-Drive Pickup. It was big. It was bulky. It was not a lot of fun to drive. So, when we moved, we decided that since we still had the Jeep which is 4-Wheel-Drive and we are moving to a place where you measure snow in inches (very infrequently) and not in feet as we were used to, we would buy a new car. We bought this beautiful Mustang GT Convertible and boy! does it sound awesome. This is a picture of my mother, "Grannie" with my husband out taking a ride in the new car! I have not been able to have a picture of my mom on the site and this one seemed just PERFECT!!! So, say hello to my mom, my friend, and my rock!
